At Pathway we strive to have a ministry or service philosphy that is in keeping with the pattern set forth in the Bible for the church. Ministry to some, is what certain people do who have been "called" or have an "official" capacity or title. These "ministers" do their thing while all others take in what the "ministers" do much like a consumer absorbs products. Although this may be a prevalent view in much of America it is far from the Bible's perspective. Perhaps ministry is best defined as it is in many dictionaries as "the act of serving".  The biblical pattern for ministry is found in Ephesians  4:11-12, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ,". When each member of the body of Christ finds their niche and follows the leading of the Holy Spirit... ministry happens and the body grows! 
    
   As your view the various ministry tabs on our site we think you will see two things!

    1. There is a place at Pathway for everyone to "plug in".
    
    2. All of these ministries happen because Pathway people are "ministers"
    and give of themselves from a heart of love!
